It handles the first conversation. For urgent problems it offers an urgent callback form and tap-to-call buttons for your emergency line, then emails you the lead immediately. It doesn’t dispatch plumbers by itself.
Can it tell customers my service-call fee?
Yes, if you add it. TendLead answers from the information you provide, so the fee, what it covers and any after-hours rates are quoted exactly as you wrote them.
Can I stop it from booking jobs outside my service area?
You can add your service area as answers so the chatbot explains where you work, and the booking form collects the ZIP code. If you prefer, set bookings to manual approval and confirm each one yourself.
What do I need to install it?
For WordPress, upload and activate the TendLead plugin. For other sites, paste one line of embed code before the closing body tag.
Does it cost extra for AI?
The default No-API mode doesn’t use an AI service at all. If you switch on AI or Hybrid mode, you use your own Gemini or OpenAI key, and Hybrid only calls the AI when your own answers don’t cover a question.
